Joseph Fredriksson, M.Hum.

Literature, Humanities

Originally from southeastern Wisconsin, Joseph went west to study the Liberal Arts at Wyoming Catholic College. Before finishing his undergraduate formation in 2017, he served as one of the leaders of the freshmen 21-day expedition in the mountains and as the college sacristan, training altar servers to attend reverently to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. After undergoing a life-changing education, he spent two years in Michigan at St. Augustine's Homeschool Enrichment Program teaching Doctrine, History, and Scripture before returning to his alma mater to help students get the most out of the WCC experience, eventually becoming the longest serving member of the Office of Student Life in the college's history. He now comes back to the Wolverine State to join a couple of his dear friends in starting the St. Joseph the Worker Academy.

Since 2020, Joseph has been also serving as a reservist with an artillery battery, and he completed his Masters in Humanities with a Concentration in Classical Education through the University of Dallas in 2023. His interests include the Church’s liturgical life and traditions, Dr. John Senior's works, and American politics.
