John Henry Gleason

Having received a B.A. in Liberal Arts at Wyoming Catholic College, Mr. Gleason came to southern Michigan in 2021 to learn to work with his hands. Initially taking interest in old world “Timber Framing,” Mr. Gleason spent a summer and fall learning to mill timbers and to cut frames with a mallet and chisel, even traveling as far as Virginia to train with the “Timber Frame Guild”. Since then, his daily work has been comprised of everything in home building from foundation to finish. He enjoys flipping bathrooms, placing foundations and concrete, installing windows, doors and trim, and, most of all, framing garages, pole barns and houses. Mr. Gleason earned his builders license with the state of Michigan in 2024, and is excited to continue building for his local community. In his “free time”, he enjoys hunting, fishing, singing folk songs and diving back into the Great Books of our Western Civilization. Most of all, Mr. Gleason enjoys spending time with his wife, Grace and their two young children.
